a day off, woot!

so i started working at the kinsmen after day camp from 3.30 to 6.30. add that to a 7.45-2.30 shift at the NHC bookstore, and I have an 11ish hour workday. schweet. its all fine though, because i get to spend time with little chitlens, which i enjoy a lot, so that is good.

and for those of you who are hounding me about pictures, YES I HAVE THEM NOW. they all turned out pretty good, so i am pleased about that. i am in the process of uploading them to a website for viewing--we bought the copyright to the photos, so legally they can't load them on their website. my website is http://lisaschensted.myphotoalbum.com/ so check that shit out. i have the honeymoon pictures on there right now (most of them anyway) and I will begin loading the wedding photos shortly. its effing hard because they take awhile to upload due to the size i guess...i dont really know, it just takes forever. then we get to pick 100 prints from the photographer. yesh! and we keep the rest forever, which is good, because then i can print whatever i want. so if you want some printed, you can do that off the website, i won't make you pay. pahaha.

its nice and overcast today. i like it because that means its not as friggin hot. i hate hot. i can't wait for Minnesota. then i can hate cold.

i am getting my haircut today, but i don't know how. i don't know if i'll stick with a trim, or get some inches taken off. i'm so bad at deciding things when it comes to my hair. i have decided to re-dye my hair though tonight, to a warm brown color. i'm going to dye it tonight when we're at the hotel so clean up is a breeze. mwahahaha.

we are staying at a hotel from tonight until next thursday afternoon. it was a wedding gift from carol and bruce (friends of andrews parents). i didn't realize how much we would need it, until it came on me. we both need a get away. then we house sit from july 24-mid august. that will be nice. they have a pool. at our last house sitting gig, there was some psycho cat who didn't let us near it the whole time. we were allowed to give it 2 cat treats a day--which meant i could get 4 feet away and toss them near it while it hissed and growled at me. awesome. and poor andrew was congested for a week from the darn thing. but now we are home with no dander.

OMG. Rene, this lady that works at Kinsmen, brought her pug to work on wednesday! it was the most awesome day of the week. Rene is like, superpugmegaqueen. she loves them, and so do i. but she has like, stuffed animals, and pictures, and minatures--i just think they rock. so, she brought one of her pugs in, and i got to play with her. she was about 6 years old, and shes had about 4 litters. shes a show bitch, so she herself wasn't shown, but her puppies are. she has something like a swirl on her shoulder, and they won't let her show. i never knew how hard core the dog show circuit was, but i guess "best in show" is right on target. gay.

so to sum up the last days of my life from my previous update...
- work two jobs that total 11.5 hours a day
- am going to get my hair cut and dyed in a 12 hour span
- am staying at a hotel for the next week
- am still in awe that I am in fact a married woman. wtf.
